Perfect for those who want to be close to hiking trails, tennis courts, skiing, a small lakeside beach and nearby camping areas - we have bikes and fishing gear available. The greater Vancouver area boasts 3 local ski mountains all within a 45 minute drive and is one and a half hour drive from Whistler/Blackcomb. Vancouver has fabulous live theatre options and tourist attractions, a great NHL hockey team, as well as soccer and football teams.
We live in a quiet residential area on a mountain with walking trails a few yards away. Our home offers 4 bedrooms, 2 and 1/2 baths, and our Ford Explorer can be made available. The backyard has a nice sized deck, a netted trampoline and a hot tub. We have a very friendly cat named Killa who will need a small amount of love & feeding, she spends most of her time outside weather permitting. Have friends available to care for cat if you are leaving for multiple days.
We are currently on a one year exchange in Italy, ending August 2010, and would like to exchange for a period of 1 year, beginning in either September 2010 or June 2011, but are open to other dates.
