Sep 30, 2010 Our home is a charming 3 story house located minutes from shops/restaurants/parks/coffee/public transit. We are on a quiet street 3 blocks from Commercial Drive, recently voted one of North America's 10 hippest neighbourhoods. We are one skytrain stop (light rail transit) away from downtown and the 2010 Olympic village. We are within 20 minutes to world famous Stanley Park, local ski hills, the beach, cycling, hiking, kayaking, golf and any other outdoor pursuit you could possibly want, as well as the majority of the Olympic venues. Day access to some of the best skiing in the world is available at Whistler mountain. Our international airport is 20 minutes away by car and accessible by high speed public transit. There is also a major cruise ship port 5 minutes away and ferries to Vancouver Island and the gulf islands is a 40 minute drive. The interior of BC is a few hours away by car and boasts fantastic wineries, golf and more skiing options. Vehicle is available for exchange.

Our home is a 3 bedroom home plus den over 3 stories. On the third floor is a lovely little deck overlooking downtown and the north shore mountains. We have a fenced yard looking onto a quiet street and a space for BBQing out back. We have two full and one half bathrooms.

The current set-up of our bedrooms is as follows:
Master bedroom - queen bed
Guest bedroom - double bed
Child's room - single bed
Infant's room/den - crib/daybed
In this set-up you can easily accomodate 4 adults and 1-2 young children (dependent on their age).

We have a fully modern kitchen, washer/dryer, high-speed wireless internet, large-screen plasma TV and all the conveniences you would expect in a modern home. Our 4-wheel drive vehicle is available for exchange.

We are a young family and are open to offers to travel just about anywhere. Aside from the specific exchange we describe below, we would consider just about anyplace else in the world!

We have a wedding to attend in Australia in mid November and would like to arrange an exchange for 4-8 weeks to NSW or southern Queensland. We are flexible on dates through the fall. We like to golf and enjoy outdoor activities. Something close to the beach, or in a major urban centre (Sydney or Brisbane) would be ideal, but we would consider anything within a reasonable distance flight (including New Zealand or Tasmania).
