Copious amounts of shops, restaurants, cafés all around Rue Lepic and Rue des Abesses, very nice atmosphere, many artists live there.
The neighbourhood is starting to be very trendy, but remains very popular at the same time.
Very near Moulin Rouge and all the big night clubs of Paris : la Loco, Folies Pigalle, etc. . .
One of the best places to live in Paris, if you seek real popular Parisian atmosphere
We dont have a car, but a car is not very usefull in Paris: metro buses and taxis are the best way to move around.
We're non-smoking but we dont mind smokers or pets.
Sonia, our house keeper cleans the loft and irons our clothes every monday afternoon, she can work for you during your stay, except if you dont want it...

I'm Patrick, 63, single , artist, and teacher of public art school in Paris ( beaux arts de paris, part of the french ministry of culture).
I travel with Julian, 38, Briton. He works for a foreign language school, he speaks fluent english, french, spanish and italian; Jacques, 75, a retired art book editor, a friend of ours, travels regularly with us.
Our loft can accomodate 4 confortably. Possibly 2 more persons on the lounge coaches.
