We are a recently retired married couple with professional backgrounds.
We are open to all offers for a simultaneous exchange for 2011 & 2012. Our preferred time period is May to September for a 1 to 2 month stay anywhere in Europe--open to other locations. Two plus weeks at anytime to the West Coast of USA or Mexico.
Our home is a modern three bedroom, three bathroom house (2400 sq. ft.) on two levels. We have an enclosed sunroom and lovely garden with barbecue and outside eating area. Full range of amenities, large screen satellite TV, PVR, stereo, computer with high speed internet, wireless internet available and piano. No smoking or pets please.
Our location is in a quiet residential area in South Surrey within walking distance of the town centre of White Rock, a small seaside community. We are a 35 min drive from downtown Vancouver. Day trips can be made to many locations such as Whistler (site of 2010 Olympics), North Shore mountains, the scenic Fraser Valley, ferry trips to Victoria and Vancouver Island. We are a five-minute drive from the US border, one hr. drive to Mt. Baker and 11/2 hr. drive to Seattle. Day/overnight trips possible to the world famous San Juan Islands with picturesque villages, arts and crafts. Bus stop within two-minute walk giving access to Vancouver and anywhere in the lower mainland of BC.
