We have a great one bedroom flat in Beckenham (Greater London) 3rd floor in quiet building with a big bay lounge window with great views of out large shared garden and beyond. We love the retro style and the pics aren't the best for showing it. Very light and airy with a nice sized Kitchen. Wood floors have just been put in and the kitchen has been renovated... we'll post some new pics very soon.
All rooms good sizes. Kitchen with all mod cons and new bathroom with shower and bath. Bedroom with double bed and We have a Toyota Yaris to swap if needed.
Our neighborhood:
Beckenham Junction is a 20 minute overland train ride into Victoria and the trains are frequent and reliable. It's in Zone Four which means you can use a London Travel Card allowing you access to all trains, tube and buses. Trains run frequently into Victoria ( about every 15mins) & the last train runs back from town at about 12.35am so there would be no problem getting back from a night out! There are also trains into London Bridge that take about 18mins and from Clock house station down the road you can get into Charing cross in about the same time. The area has a trendy young family vibe and the shops, restaurants, pubs and cinema are a 5min walk away from our flat. There are a few local parks to choose from that are not too far away also. We love the space in the area and I find it convenient enough to travel into West London for work daily. We also have a cab number for a very low priced company should you need it.
Something about ourselves:
We are Zoe & Alex a couple aged 27 and 32 years old. Alex is a music Tech teacher in a school and a Music producer. I'm a nanny as well as run my own online promotions company. We are clean, reliable and have hired out many peoples houses in the past without problem and have just finished our first swap in Australia for a month. We have family that live close by if you need anything at all or have any problems on your visit..
