The house has 2 plasma TVs, study/office with computer and free WIFI internet, a stereo system and Dvd player. The kitchen is well appointed and there is a built in outdoor bbq and outside heater near the pool and spa. All bedrooms have posturepedic beds and floor to ceiling windows.
20mins by car, 30mins by bus to Christchurch city center and 5 mins to beach and village. Walking and mountainbike trails are a few minutes away. Christchurch is an easy drive to many other attractions: 1 hr to Akaroa or Hanmer Springs, 2.5 hrs to Kaikoura, 4 hrs to the West Coast.
We also have a modern 4 bedroom holiday home in Wanaka (sleeps 10)with pool, which could be available as part of this house swap as well. Wanaka is in Central Otago and is a 5.5hr drive from Christchurch & 1hr drive from Queenstown. Central Otago has many adventure tourism activities and is a well renown wine area. See listing 23765.
