Feb 28, 2011 We are a family of 4. We are friendly, trustworthy, respectful, responsible and non-smokers. We have current Police checks through Neighbourhood watch (which we are also area co-ordinators) and have both previously had security checks carried out on us for employment purposes. We have 5 pet chooks in the back yard (fenced chook run) that provide lovely organic eggs. We would require you to feed, water and collect their eggs. We also have 4 veggie patches and fruit trees, if anything is growing you are welcome to harvest. We have lovely neighbours all around. We are about 250 metres to our local shops (which include newsagent, restaurant, cafe, natural product shops, hairdresser, massage centre, Yoga/relaxation). We have three other major shopping centres within 5 km of our house and it is a direct drive on a major road to all of them. There you will find Supermarkets, Petrol stations, Bottleshops, Cafes, Bakeries, Clubs/bar, kids indoor play areas, Banks, Chemists, fashion shops, Video shops, Newsagents, gym and aerobics etc etc
We have a fantastic bike/walking/pram path about 50-100m from our home. We are about 200 m from the Mount Taylor Nature Reserve which provides excellent trails to walk/ride bikes, or you can even try hiking up Mount Taylor as many people from this area do. We are close to the main bus route which connects all major areas in the ACT. We are very close to parks, ovals and tennis courts.
We live in a comfortable 3 bedroom split level family home facing NE. We have a main bathroom with bath, shower and separate toilet. The main bedroom has an ensuite with toilet, bath and shower. The main bedroom has a king size bed, air-conditioning and heating. The other 2 have cots, queen sized bed, baby change table, air-conditioning and heating. We also have a king single and blow up queen mattress that you can place on the floor if necessary. We have a large combined lounge and dining, and rumpus room. We have gas and reverse cycle heating, air-conditioning and fans. Reverse cycles are in the bedrooms and main areas of the house. The house has security doors and security screens. We have wheelchair access if necessary. We have an undercover outdoor area out the back with barbecue, table and chairs. We have a lockable garage with automatic door and extra parking around the house. We have a very large sandpit, enclosed trampoline, childrens wading pools, ride on digger and outdoor toys.
We've lived here for 5 years and have done some renovations, including the bathroom and kitchen.
