Our house is in Poitiers, pretty middle aged town in France (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poitiers). Our house is 2 minutes from Poitiers station by foot.
Possibility to visit the famous theme park called "Futuroscope" based upon multimedia, cinematographic technics.
Poitiers is also 1 hour by car to the "châteaux de la Loire" and 1H30 by car/train to the Beachfront (La Rochelle, Bordeaux). Paris is at 1H30 by train.
