From the house, you can be skiing in 45 minutes at the local resort or 1.5 hours at Keystone, Breckenridge, Copper Mt or Winter Park; 2 hours to Vail. In the other direction, 45 minutes will get you to downtown Denver with many historical and cultural activities. Rocky Moutain National Park is also only a 1.5 hour drive. Boulder, home to the University of Colorado, is a wonderful and friendly town known for its natural beauty, great restaurants, outdoor recreation, technological and academic resources, and many entertainment options. This part of Colorado features a wonderful climate with sunshine and moderate temperatures all year round. Bicycles, car, guitars all available for exchange!
We are an active couple in our fifties; mostly retired. Mark does some marketing consulting and Caren is a a painter and a financial trader.
