Our beautiful house is situated in the quiet, green village of Ainring and is an ideal place to stay near the famous Mozart-city Salzburg (only 6 km away). From our terrace or from the sleeping room you have a fine view to the mountains and you can also see the fortress of Salzburg. Bike tours and walks in the beautiful nature you can start right from our house.
It is a nice, quiet and perfect starting point for many tours eg to the city of Salzburg, Hellbrunn Palace, to the mountains for hiking, skiing, snowboarding and much more. In summer there are a lot of excursions to many beautiful lakes (eg Chiemsee), many golf courses & several beautiful historical villages & towns are possible by bike, train, bus or by car.
Our house is big - it is a two family house. In the one half it's our private area (135 sqm) and in the other half there are some office rooms for our own company and in the first floor there is also a separate appartment (45 sqm) with own kitchen, bathroom, own entry and a nice sunny balcony.
Our house (the private half) offers spacious room, a nice kitchen, a large terrace with a big garden, 2 bedrooms, bathrooms & a guest toilet. Eventually the use of a car would be possible (by arrangement).
We are a non-smoking household & pls note that smoking in the house is not welcomed (on the terrace, there is no problem to smoke)!
From our house it's only 6 km to the famous city of Salzburg, where Mozart was born and lived. Our house is a perfect starting point for many tours. You can reach many beautiful, historical cities around ... for example Munich, Vienna, Prague, Venice, Zurich and so on ...
Even when you're sporty you can do a lot eg. skiing, hiking, snowboarding or enjoy the lakes and landscape around (eg. Wolfgangsee, Chiemsee, Mondsee, Königssee). You find many golf courses around around us.
There is a lot to do, a lot to see and it's quite different to other countries.
We are a couple, my husband Franz is around the 50ies and me, Mic in the early 40ies. We run our own company (marketing & advertising agency) here in Germany and love Australia. Since my first time in 1992, I and for the last years we both together travelled every 3 or 4 years to different places in Australia.
In 2012 we like to stay for several months and therefore we can offer some exchanges. We have in our big house a really nice appartment too (with separate entry), so maybe a non-simultanous exchange is also possible.
Once in the week our house will be cleaned by our "fairy godmother" and we have three cats they are the most of the time outside and have their sleeping places around the house. Our neighbours will take care of them.
So we are open to all offers for 2013 and 2014.
