We own two second homes: We have a 2 bedroom apartment that can host up to 6 people in Torredembarra, a lovely town in between Barcelona and Tarragona, two UNESCO world heritage sites. Barcelona is also a very cosmopolitan one and both are good places for shopping and very good and quite cheap restaurants (compared with prices in Europe).
The apartment has sea views and an open air swimming pool and it's at only 5 minutes walking from the beach and 50 minutes by cheap train to Barcelona's city centre.
Port Aventura's theme park is at only 25 minutes drive or train ride.(www.portaventura.es)
In winter, skiing at the Pyrenees is at less than 2 and a half hours.
We also have a second home in FRANCE, in central Brittany, near Carhaix, as we fell in love with the unspoilt beauty of that French region, which we can also swap with you if interested.
We would love to stay for 3-4 weeks this summer in the UK, New York or New Jersey, but would need your help to make sure our kids can take part in summer activities with other English speaking kids. They are 13 and 11 years old.
We are also open to holidays anywhere in the world during the school holidays, so feel free to ask.

I'm a psychologist, Vicent is a teacher and we have two sons, who are 11 and 13 and used to swap homes, as we have made +30 home exchanges and enjoyed all of them very much.
